
Beginners Course 1 – Fundamentals of Yoga

Join Steven Harris for this comprehensive 6 week course specifically designed for brand new yogis or those who wish to take it right back to the beginning. The main focus will be learning basic alignment principles, particularly of standing postures, which form the foundation of the yoga practice. We will take our time and also explore forward bends, backbends, as well as twists, both standing and seated. The course will also include an introduction to the breath and some meditation practice.
This course gives you the opportunity to set the foundations right and learn to practise safely from the beginning. You will then progress quicker, feel more confident and comfortable in the other classes and more easily discover joy in the practice. Please do your best to commit to the entire 6 weeks as consistency will lead to results.
