The start of a new year often asks us to do more – to plan, to improve, to push forward. But what if we began differently? What if the first step was simply to steady ourselves? In this workshop, we’ll explore the Buddhist principle of equanimity – the practice of staying balanced and at ease in the midst of change.
Through reflection, breathwork and a grounding sequence of standing and balancing postures, we’ll explore what steadiness feels like in the body, mind, and heart. Together, we’ll cultivate a deeper sense of calm and presence, and consider how to carry these qualities into the year ahead. We’ll then close with a soothing sound bath, allowing everything to settle and inviting deep rest.
This isn’t a workshop about resolutions or goals. It’s an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and begin again – with awareness, steadiness, and a little more ease.
