Class Styles
Vinyasa Flow
Taught in a dynamic, flowing and mindful way with modifications of poses offered as required. So whether you are looking to take a more nurturing approach to your practice, or work a little stronger and deeper, you will be well looked after. Note that each individual teacher will present the class a little differently due to their varied influences and backgrounds. Suitable for most levels.
Slow Vinyasa
Slow Vinyasa is a slower paced class than the Vinyasa classes. In Slow Vinyasa you will have a little extra time and space to practice in a mindful, reflective and responsive way while being supported to grow your practice and progress at your own pace. Note that each individual teacher will present the class a little differently due to their varied influences and backgrounds. Suitable for all levels.
Dynamic Flow
Taught in a flowing and engaging way. Teachers will assume that practitioners have a basic understanding of posture and breath and are able to pace themselves as required. Good for those who wish to deepen their understanding and be challenged. Suitable for practitioners with 6 months of yoga experience.
Accessible Astanga
During this class the focus will be on 'Half Primary' which is a short form of the full primary astanga series. It is a dynamic sequence of postures that builds strength, flexibility and promotes relaxation. There is also a strong focus on breath count and synchronising the movement of the body with the breath. Curious? Come and try it for yourself.
Strength & Inversions
This class is for anyone who wants to build strength and stability through yoga practice, and develop the skills and confidence to explore inversions and arm balancing postures safely and effectively. Each session will include a dynamic warm up, strength drills, posture breakdown and exploration into new variations and transitions. We will play with either headstand, forearm stand and handstand, as well as explore jumping, pressing and floating. So get ready to work hard and have a lot of fun! Not suitable for complete beginners as a basic understanding of yoga is required to ensure you are safe and get the most out of the session
Slow Flow
Slow flow is a gentler version of slow vinyasa and the perfect pace for an end of day, or end of week practice. Expect a breath focussed class with mindful movement and relaxation practices which will help to release tension from the body and mind. Note that each individual teacher will present the class a little differently due to their varied influences and backgrounds. Suitable for all levels.Yin
Yin Yoga uses restorative, floor-based poses to provide support for the immune system and to develop an inner atmosphere of self-inquiry. Yin Yoga classes provide an ideal setting to develop or deepen a meditation practice because the physically passive poses are held for several minutes at a time, with the muscles relaxed and the body supported. Suitable for all levels.
Community Slow Flow
Community Slow Flow is taught in a slow-paced and accessible way. Suited to beginners, those with pre-existing conditions or injuries, or intermediate students who may wish to work on the fundamentals. The aim of the class is to provide students with a nurturing experience that will allow them to discover for themselves the benefits of yoga, regardless of age, limitation or fitness level. The 'community' part? These classes are just $15, although current students on any existing passes are welcome to join.Live Stream Classes
