Beginners Course Level 1


Fundamentals of Yoga

This comprehensive 6 week course is specifically designed for brand new yogis or those who wish to take it right back to the beginning. The main focus will be learning basic alignment principles particularly of standing postures which form the foundation of the yoga practice. We will take our time and also explore forward bends, backbends as well as twists both standing and seated. The course will also include an introduction to the breath.

This course gives you the opportunity set the foundations right and learn to practise safely from the beginning. You will then progress quicker, feel more confident and comfortable in the other classes and more easily discover joy in the practice. Please do your best to commit to the entire 6 weeks as consistency will lead to results. We are taking a maximum of 12 people to ensure there is plenty of personal attention so get in quick to secure your place.

Beginners Course Level 2


The Art of Vinyasa & an Introduction to Inversions

This 6 week Course is a follow on from Beginners Level 1 - Fundamentals of Yoga.

Over the 6 weeks we will build on the core sequence of postures offered in Course 1. During Course 2 you are starting to experience the important link between how you move and how you breathe, learning to link postures smoothly with the breath. You are building your knowledge and confidence and starting to join the dots in the practice and put it all together.

We will introduce inversions e.g. some simpler arm balances, shoulder stand and others. We will also explore some simple breathing exercises (pranayama). There will be plenty of variations and modifications offered to ensure this course is accessible to all.

Please do your best to commit to the entire 6 weeks as consistency leads to results. We are taking a maximum of 13 people to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to, so get in quick to secure your place. Preference will be given to those who have completed the Beginners Level 1 Fundamentals course.

The investment is $150 which includes 6 x 90 minute course classes  It is strongly suggested that you try and attend a second class a week throughout the course to help you absorb the information and maximise understanding. Beginners Course Level 3


Inversions, Pranayama & Bringing It All Together

Beginners Level 3 is the follow on course from Beginners Level 2. We introduce headstand and look at various ways to access it in a safe and individualised way. We will further develop shoulderstand and forearm balance and will explore 2-3 essential pranayama rhythms (breathing exercises). We are beginning to understand vinyasa (creating a flowing, moving meditation with steady breath) and are starting to cultivate longer periods of concentration and one pointed focus (Dharana).

Note that while the course is running, you will be able to attend 6 additional Intermediate Level classes* to help reinforce your understanding and create consistency. Quite simply, consistency and effort = results. At completion of this course those students who have completed all 3 courses, will have had 18 weeks of yoga under their belt. It is here you will start to feel and see the many benefits the practice offers and more intimately understand how it can positively shape your life.

You will always be encouraged to find balance in your own practice according to what is appropriate for you in each moment. Modifications of postures will be offered throughout the course to ensure it is accessible to your level. *Note if Intermediate Level classes are not appropriate or possible for your schedule, we will find alternative classes that suit you.

The investment of $150 includes 12 classes. This includes 6 x 90 minute course classes + 6 additional classes at the studio over the duration of the course (ideally two classes per week). There will be multiple classes to choose from to ensure you can be consistent. Now that we are practising twice per week, we start to experience the many benefits a regular yoga practice offers. Kids Yoga


First 8 week course begins Thursday October 18th!

Thursdays 3.45pm – 4.15pm (5-8 yrs) & 4.30pm – 5.15pm (9-12 yrs)
8 week course: $135.00

During these special classes, Danielle (mother of two) will explore fun and creative sequences designed specifically for the ages of your children.

Yoga builds confidence and helps children learn to regulate themselves and understand their emotions. The emphasis in these classes will be to learn about the body and breath, encourage creativity and imagination and to help build a strong mind through developing focus and attention control.

Classes will be taught in a non-competitive environment, respecting that each child has their unique strengths and challenges.
