Beginners Course 1 – Fundamentals of Yoga

Join Teaghan Alexander for this comprehensive 6 week course specifically designed for those who are completely new to yoga or those who wish to take it right back to the beginning. Each week there will be a focus on one of the foundational aspects of the practice –
Week 1 – Standing postures
Week 2 – Standing postures 2
Week 3 – Standing and balancing
Week 4 – Forward bending and hip opening
Week 5 – Twisting and hip opening
Week 6 – Core and backbending
The course will also introduce yoga breathing and meditation practice.
This course gives you the opportunity set the foundations right and learn to practise safely from the start. This means you will progress quicker, feel more confident and comfortable in the other classes and more easily discover joy in the practice.
Please do your best to commit to the entire 6 weeks as consistency will lead to results.
